Glazesafe, the multi-award winning company behind the game changing Sashmate® and Stronghold products for safer working at height will take its innovative products into the Dragon’s Den next week.
Glazesafe will pitch the five Dragons – Deborah Meaden, Peter Jones, Jenny Campbell, Tej Lalvani and Touker Suleyman – on Sunday 28th January 2018 at 8pm, BBC2.
Director of Glazesafe, Daniel Cheddie is a fire fighter, window repair specialist and designer. He will present his two award-winning and Patented products, Sashmate® and Stronghold to the Dragons in order to help fund international expansion. He said, “Going into the Den is a nerve-wracking experiences but also a brilliant opportunity to take Glazesafe and our products to the next level with investment and mentoring from some of the biggest names in business.”
The Industry recommended Sashmate® is a revolutionary and market leading ‘clamp and brace tool’ which has been specifically designed for window engineers by a window engineer. The Sashmate® tools allow a single engineer to carry out repairs to externally glazed glass units, friction stay hinges and Espagnolettes, safely from inside the building without the need for ladders, scaffold or any other form of external access equipment.
The second of the two Glazesafe products to be pitched to the five multimillionaire investors is Stronghold, a lightweight, fast erect and free standing anchor point and barrier system which is designed to revolutionise access and safety for both the emergency services, Special Forces and the construction industry. It instantly creates a highly visible barrier around an opening, preventing workers and the public from getting close enough to the opening to fall whilst providing anchor points for two workers to attach to, along with their tools.
